Introductory Blog Post

Hey, there! Welcome to our first ever blog post. We are pleased to introduce ourselves through a new media outlet; blogging! Let us start by introducing a little bit about ourselves.


We are Bee's Knees Marketing Co. and we are (at first glance) a marketing consulting company. We specialize in small and local businesses within the Pacific Northwest area. Our services range widely within digital marketing such as social media account management, brand identity workshops, email marketing, web design and videography. Our service packages and projects are tailored specifically to each client ensuring maximum results.

We are here to be a helping hand to business owners in the Pacific Northwest. We believe strengthening local businesses strengthens our communities. Supporting small businesses creates jobs within the area, keeps hungry families healthy, and allows children to devop skills from other community mentors such as summer camps and youth groups. To say we're a little passionate about supporting local businesses is a bit of an understatement.

So what can you expect to see from our blog? Well, everything!


You can expect to see a new blog post weekly varying in the following topics; Personal/Lifestyle, Tech Talk/Business Related, Our Featured Business of the Month, and a Monthly Recap/Monthly Update. 


Some examples of these may be a post about a new type of photography we are playing with, tips & tricks on video editing or shooting. A recipe for homemade pasta, the best way to attract pollinators to your garden, or even a short review of a new experience we have recently tried.


We know that not all types of posts may tickle your fancy. For example, a busy business owner might not want to read about the best time to harvest homegrown tomatoes. A plant-lover might not want to read about the future of marketing platforms. Maybe you find all of these topics interesting and if that's the case, bingo! But feel free to pick and choose the reads that best suits your interests.

 

We want to highlight the greatness of the community and the beauty that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Our overall goal with this blog is to build a connection with others within the area. Finding like-minded people that share the same passions as us. Letting people see behind the scenes here at Bee’s Knees Marketing Co. and showing what we stand for. You might find yourself reading about cooking and the next minute you might find yourself reading about the importance of supporting local business; all of which is a part of our core values here. 


Briefly, we would like to introduce to you the author behind the posts. Bee’s Knees Marketing Co. Owner, Lindsey A. Weaver. She has lived in Spokane almost her whole life and has worked with small businesses within the area for nearly 10 years. She has an educational background in social media and digital marketing. She is a boy mom of one and enjoys nature, cooking, coffee, and creating. Hiking, sewing, gardening, and making homemade meals are some of her regular activities.
